Wrapper: Coffee bean brown, smooth texture with tiny veins.
Construction: Fairly firm with a little uneven feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Oakwood bark and cacao powder.
1st third: Starts with medium roasted coffee, cacao powder but not bitter, hazelnuts, nutmeg, brown sugar and oakwood.
2nd third: While pretty unchanged, the flavours focus on the darker notes.
Burn: Burns fairly sharp with a firm and stable white ash.
Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue with a light draw.
3rd third: A red pepper spice is added with the previous darker flavours of coffee, cacao and oakwood.
Duration: 20:50-22:10, 1h 20min.
Conclusion: A full bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. Quite enjoyable flavours throughout with good complexity.
Result: In my book this is a 90 point cigar.
