Gifted by Arnt Ånensen, owner of Viking Cigars.
Location: This review was made indoors in a cigar lounge.
Wrapper: Milk chocolate, smooth and oily with tiny veins.
Construction: Firm and a little soft feel.
Cold draw: Dark chocolate, white pepper and hay.
1st third: Dark rich chocolate flavours, white pepper, dried fruit like plums and apricots and some almonds.
2nd third: A touch of spicy cedar or sandalwood, some earthy notes and still the dried fruits. There is also a soft hint of petroleum and that’s a good taste don’t get me wrong.
The burn: Crisp white ash, stable and firm construction.
Smoke: Voluminous with a medium heat.
3rd third: Nicotine heavy, still a bit spicy but still really good flavours.
Conclusion: Interesting cigar, a good roller-coaster of flavours in each part. Looking forward to try more Cornelius & Antony Cigars.
Result: In my book this is a 91 point cigar.
