Wrapper: Milk chocolate brown, silky smooth texture with tiny veins.
Construction: A little giving but even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Old furniture and cashew nuts.
1st third: Starts with distinct notes of gingerbread, fresh raspberries, cacao and fine light wood.
2nd third: Notes of beachwood and shortbread added, keeps smooth flowing, very enjoyable.
Burn: Burns sharp with a firm and stable white-ish ash.
Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue with a light draw.
3rd third: Slight pinch of pepper on the palette and in the nostrils, otherwise it flows smoothly with notes of milk chocolate instead of cacao like the beginning.
Duration: 17:35-19:30, 1h 55min.
Conclusion: A full bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. Very enjoyable complexity yet well balanced flavours and smooth textured smoke on the palette.
Result: In my book this is a 93 point cigar.
