Wrapper: Dark coffee bean, smooth texture with small protruding veins.
Construction: Firm and even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Pinewood and freshly harvested corn.
1st third: Starts with pinewood, tea leaves, roasted chestnuts and pastry dough.
2nd third: There’s a dried fruits sweetness lingering on the after taste.
Burn: Burns fairly sharp with a firm and stable white ash.
Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue with a medium light draw.
3rd third: Notes of black pepper added to the mix.
Duration: 22:10-23:30, 1h 20min.
Conclusion: A medium to full bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. A well balanced smoking experience enjoyed until I no longer could hold on because I was burning my finger tips.
Result: In my book this is a 91 point cigar.
