Wrapper: Milk chocolate brown, oily and smooth with small protruding veins.
Construction: Fairly soft but a little uneven with some firm spots.
Cold draw: Cedarwood.
1st third: Starts with pink pepper, cedarwood, sourdough bread and almonds.
2nd third: Notes of popcorn and mineral rich soil gets a more prominent flavour feature.
Burn: Burns sharp with a firm and stable gray-ish ash.
Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a medium heat feel on the tongue with a light draw.
3rd third: The pepper notes go over to a black pepper corn, otherwise unchanged.
Duration: 15:35-16:45, 1h 10min.
Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium to full strength profile. While its balanced there still is a strong pepper spice in each part. Had to be relit a fair few times as it had its tendencies.
Result: In my book this is a 88 point cigar.
