Wrapper: Dark milk chocolate brown, smooth with small veins.
Construction: Fairly firm with some uneven spots when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Oakwood.
1st third: Starts with oakwood, walnuts, dark toasted bread, prunes and a cinnamon stick.
2nd third: Notes of black tea and honey or honeydew melon emerge.
Burn: Burns fairly sharp with a firm and stable white-ish ash.
Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue with a medium light draw.
3rd third: As it approaches the final third it opens up for a darker flavour profile, with notes of cacao and darker oakwood while still retaining that nice honey sweetness and a light but oh so not intrusive pepper spice.
Duration: 21:00-22:30, 1h 30min
Conclusion: A full bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. Lovely complexity and well balanced flavour experience.
Result: In my book this is a 92 point cigar.
