Size: 4.75×52, Torpedo.
Wrapper: Hazelnut light brown, smooth texture with tiny veins.
Construction: Firm and even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Cinnamon, apple pie and oakwood.
1st third: Starts with a old saturated oakwood barrel, nutmeg, walnuts, anis seed and black pepper spice.
2nd third: The apple pie notes I got in the cold draw show itself more clearly together with previously mentioned flavour notes.
Burn: Burns fairly sharp with a firm and stable white ash.
Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a medium heat feel on the tongue with a medium light draw.
3rd third: Fairly unchanged.
Duration: 21:05-22:25, 1h 20min.
Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. Well balanced flavours, just hoped more of that apple pie sweetness was more prominent but who can argue it’s not an enjoyable cigar.
Result: In my book this is an 90 point cigar.
