Size: 6×54, Toro (Soft boxpressed).
Wrapper: Barberpole coffee bean brown with strands of milk chocolate, oily and smooth with tiny veins.
Construction: Fairly firm and even when lightly squeezed. Soft boxpressed.
Cold draw: Sandalwood, cinnamon and earthy sweetness.
1st third: Starts with a toasted bread, birchwood, digestive biscuits, cacao powder and mineral rich earth.
2nd third: Gets a predominant hint of ginger ale added to the mix, creamy and smooth.
Burn: Burns sharp with a firm and stable white ash.
Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a medium cool feeling on the tongue with a light draw.
3rd third: No changes from previous parts, it just flows on.
Duration: 19:40-21:00, 1h 20min.
Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. Just what I needed this evening, perfect strength and body for me. Really made me wind down and I didn’t long for drinking any water which is very rare as I’m always thursty.
Result: In my book this is an 92 point cigar.
