Wrapper: Nicaraguan Corojo Oscuro
Binder: Nicaragua
Filler: Nicaragua Jalapa, Condega & Esteli
Size: 5.5×52, Robusto Grande.
Wrapper: Coffee bean, oily and silky smooth with tiny veins.
Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Oriental spices and wood.
1st third: Earthy, black pepper and medium roasted coffee.
2nd third: Other oriental spices and oakwood gets introduced to the already existing flavours.
Burn: Burns fairly sharp with a firm and stable white ash.
Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a medium cool feeling on the tongue and a light draw.
3rd third: No changes from previous parts.
Duration: 14:20-15:40, 1h 20min.
Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile.
Result: In my book this is an 89 point cigar.
