From my own collection.
Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens Fine Tobacco’s cigar lounge.
Information:
Wrapper: Cuba
Binder: Cuba
Filler: Cuba
Discontinued 2006.
Size: 6.5×42, Cervantes (Lonsdale).
Wrapper: Nutty, sandy feel with tiny veins.
Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Very light wood note.
1st third: Starts with a prominent walnut and medium roasted coffee notes, with a background note of cinnamon and milk chocolate.
2nd third: Gets a very light black pepper spice on the tongue otherwise the same.
Burn: Burns sharp with a firm and stable gray ash.
Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a medium cool feeling on the tongue and a light draw.
3rd third: Keeps the same from previous parts.
Duration: 19:30-20:30, 1h.
Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. For being 21 years old it still keeps a punch which is great.
Result: In my book this is an 90 point cigar.
