Supplied by Mellgrens Fine Tobacco.

Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens Fine Tobacco’s cigar lounge.

Information:
Wrapper: Broadleaf Maduro
Binder: Nicaragua
Filler: Nicaragua

Size: 5.2 x 50, Robusto.

Wrapper: Coffee bean oily and silky smooth with tiny veins.

Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Barnyard and black pepper.

1st third: Starts with a espresso, earthy sweetness and red wine/ leathery roughness on the tongue.

2nd third: Gets that black pepper spice I felt in the cold draw, added to the mix.

Burn: Burns fairly sharp with a firm and not so  stable but flaky white ash.

Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a medium heat feel on the tongue and a light draw.

3rd third: Gets note of hard rye bread otherwise it keeps the same.

Duration: 15:25-16:40, 1h 15 min.

Conclusion: A full bodied cigar with a medium to full strength profile.

Result: In my book this is an 89 point cigar.
