Wrapper: Mexican San Andres Maduro
Binder: Indonesia
Filler: Nicaragua (Jalapa, Esteli & Ometepe)
Size: 5×50, Robusto.
Wrapper: Dark coffee bean, rough but still oily with tiny veins.
Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Hay.
1st third: Starts with a earthy sweetness, 70% dark chocolate, plums and tree bark.
2nd third: Keeps it’s previous flavours steady.
Burn: Burns fairly sharp with a firm and not so stable whiteish ash.
Smoke: Medium voluminous smoke with a medium heat feel on the tongue and a medium light draw.
3rd third: No changes from previous parts.
Duration: 19:30-20:30, 1h.
Conclusion: A full bodied cigar with a medium strength profile.
Result: In my book this is an 87 point cigar.
