473. Bolivar Coronas Junior Vintage 1999

From my own collection.

Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens Fine Tobacco’s cigar lounge.

Information:
Wrapper: Cuba
Binder: Cuba
Filler: Cuba

Size: 4.2×42, Petit Corona (Minutos).

Wrapper: Dirt brown, smooth with tiny veins.

Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Hay.

1st third: Starts with a cardboard, dark roasted coffee, bitter almonds.

2nd third: Looses it’s bitter notes otherwise the same.

Burn: Burns a little wonky, firm and stable whiteish ash.

Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a medium heat feel on the tongue and a light draw.

3rd third: Keeps the same.

Duration: 18:40-19:20, 40 min.

Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile.

Result: In my book this is an 86 point cigar.
