470. Cohiba Siglo V Aged 2018

Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens Fine Tobacco’s cigar lounge.

Information:
Wrapper: Cuba
Binder: Cuba
Filler: Cuba

Size: 6.7×43, Lonsdale (Dalias).

Wrapper: Milk chocolate, oily and smooth with tiny veins.

Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Cedarwood and black tea.

1st third: Starts with a toasted bread, cedarwood and almonds note.

2nd third: Gets a slight buttery sweet note added.

Burn: Burns sharp with a firm but not so stable whiteish ash.

Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue and a light draw.

3rd third: Keeps it’s previous flavours.

Duration: 21:20-22:30, 1h 10min.

Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile.

Result: In my book this is an 91 point cigar.
