Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens Fine Tobacco’s cigar lounge.
Information:
Wrapper: Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade.
Binder: Nicaraguan Jalapa.
Filler: USA Pennsylvania & Nicaraguan Condega, Estelí.
Size: 6.5×50, Toro (Dobles).
Wrapper: Milk chocolate, oily and smooth with tiny veins.
Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Hay.
1st third: Starts with a toasted bread, hazelnuts and light wood.
2nd third: No changes.
Burn: Burns sharp with a firm and stable white ash. Had to re-light a couple of times, because all of a sudden it went out.
Smoke: Light smoke and a cool feeling on the tongue and a medium tight draw.
3rd third: No changes at all, keept the same flavours all the way.
Duration: 16:05-18:05, 2h.
Conclusion: A mild bodied cigar with a mild strength profile.
Result: In my book this is an 87 point cigar.
