Gifted by Maya Selva, owner of Maya Selva Cigars.

Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens Fine Tobacco’s cigar lounge.

Wrapper: Sumatran.
Binder: Honduran.
Filler: Honduras & Nicaragua.

Size: 6×60, Toro Gordo.

Wrapper: Milk chocolate, oily and smooth with small veins.

Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Hay and almonds.

1st third: Starts with a medium roasted coffee note, almonds, milk chocolate and leather.

2nd third: Keeps it’s previous flavours well balanced.

Burn: Burns fairly sharp with a firm and stable whiteish ash.

Smoke: Voluminous white smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue and a light draw.

3rd third: Very well balanced until the very end.

Duration: 16:35-17:55, 1h 20min.

Conclusion: A medium to full bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. A better version of the El Gordo of the same series.

Result: In my book this is an 91 point cigar.
