405. Principle Accomplice Corojo Lancero

Gifted by Darren Cioffi owner of Principle Cigars.

Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens Fine Tobacco’s cigar lounge.

Information:
Wrapper: Ecuadorian Corojo.
Binder: Dominican Republic.
Filler: Dominican Republic.

Size: 7×38, Lancero.

Wrapper: Coffee bean, oily and silky smooth with tiny veins.

Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Earthy notes and darker wood.

1st third: Starts instantly with notes of hickory wood, earthy sweetness and nutmeg.

2nd third: Smoothens out with a creamy chocolate note with hints of leather in the background holding it together.

Burn: Burns sharp with a firm white but very flakey or should I say flower like ash. After about 1cm in the flowering stopped and kept a firm and stable ash.

Smoke: Voluminous white smoke with a medium heat feel on the tongue and a light draw.

3rd third: Keeps its smooth notes from part 2.

Duration: 15:55-17:25, 1h 30min.

Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile.

Result: In my book this is an 94 point cigar.
