Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens Fine Tobacco’s cigar lounge.
Information:
Sun grown tobacco from Honduras and Nicaragua.
Size: 5×62, Double Robusto.
Wrapper: Redish brown wrapper, oily and silky smooth with tiny veins.
Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Cedarwood note.
1st third: Starts with a note of cedarwood and note of green vegetables.
2nd third: No changes.
Burn: Slow and sharp burn with a firm and stable white ash. Had to relight 4 times.
Smoke: Medium voluminous smoke with a medium heat feel on the tongue and a medium light draw.
3rd third: No changes, very boring.
Duration: 22:30-23:50, 1h 20min.
Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile.
Result: In my book this is an 85 point cigar.
