376. Cuesta-Rey Centenario No. 7 Natural Robusto

Gifted by Srecko Pavicevic, owner of Global Cigar.

Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens Fine Tobacco’s cigar lounge.

Information:
Wrapper: Connecticut Shade.
Binder: Dominican.
Filler: Dominican.
Factory: Tabacalera A. Fuente.

Size: 4.5×50, Robusto.

Wrapper: Nutty brown, oily and silky smooth with tiny veins.

Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Cedarwood and hay.

1st third: Starts with a very aromatic cedarwood note and toasted bread.

2nd third: Keeps previous flavours with a hint of a hazelnut note.

Burn: Burns a little wonky but easily fixed, firm and stable white ash.

Smoke: Medium voluminous smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue and a light draw

3rd third: The nutty notes steps forward with hints of earthiness, then there is still some wood notes in the back.

Duration: 14:05-15:05, 1h.

Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a mild strength profile.

Result: In my book this is an 89 point cigar.
