343. Montecristo Dantés Edicion Limitada 2016

From my own collection.

Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens cigar lounge.

Information:
Montecristo is a current pre-Revolution brand, established in 1935.
The main range comprises medium to full-strength cigars.
Varnished Semi Boite Nature Box of 10 cigars.

Size: 6.6×48, Grand Corona (Hermosos No.1).

Wrapper: Darker milk chocolate, smooth with tiny veins.

Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Freshly cut oak wood.

1st third: Starts of with a medium roasted coffee beans with a milk chocolate, caramel sweet note and oak wood in the background.

2nd third: Keeps it’s previous flavours.

Burn: Burns very slowly and fairly sharp with a whiteish firm and stable ash.

Smoke: Light smoke with a medium heat feel on the tongue and a medium tight draw.

3rd third: Looses it’s chocolate and coffee notes and just taste like burning oak.

Duration: 20:25-21:25, 1h.

Conclusion: A medium to full bodied cigar with a medium strength profile.

Result: In my book this is an 87 point cigar.
