341. My Father No. 4 Lancero

Supplied by Mellgrens Fine Tobacco.

Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens cigar lounge.

Information:
Wrapper Ecuadorian Habano Criollo.
Binder: Nicaragua.
Filler: Nicaragua.

Size: 7.5×38, Lancero.

Wrapper: Coffee bean, oily and silky-smooth with tiny veins.

Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Hay.

1st third: Starts with a almond and hay note.

2nd third: So white pepper spice added otherwise the same.

Burn: Burns a little wonky with a firm but not so stable white ash.

Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a medium heat feel on the tongue and a light draw.

3rd third: No changes.

Duration: 20:05-21:20, 1h 15min.

Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile.

Result: In my book this is an 87 point cigar.
