334. Carlos André Family Reserve Corona

Gifted by a friend on my 19th birthday.

Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens cigar lounge.

Information:
Wrapper: Connecticut Seed Ecuador.
Binder: Olor Dominican Republic.
Filler: Mata Fina Brasil, olor Dominican Republic, Havana Seed Spain.
(Gifted to me at my 19th birthday, back in 2014).

Size: 5.8×42, Corona.

Wrapper: Nutty shade, silky-smooth with tiny veins.

Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Hay and driftwood.

1st third: Starts with a mild note of toasted bread and peanuts.

2nd third: Keeps it’s flavours.

Burn: Burns sharp with a firm and stable white ash.

Smoke: Volume white smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue and a light draw.

3rd third: No changes, still a clear note of toasted bread and peanuts.

Duration: 22:15-23:10, 55 min.

Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a mild strength profile.

Result: In my book this is an 89 point cigar.
