315. Romeo y Julieta LCDH Cedros de Luxe 2014

From my own collection.

Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens cigar lounge.

Information:
Romeo y Julieta is a current pre-Revolution brand, launched around the 1850s and was officially registered in 1873.
The range comprises medium strength cigars, using tobacco from the premium Vuelta Abajo region in Cuba.
Semi Boite Nature Box of 10 cigars.

Size: 5.6×50, Robusto Extra (Gorditos).

Wrapper: Milk chocolate, oily and silky-smooth with tiny veins.

Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Light fluffy white bread.

1st third: Starts with a soft smooth toasted bread note.

2nd third: No changes.

Burn: Burns sharp and hasty with a firm and stable white ash.

Smoke: Voluminous white smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue and a light draw.

3rd third: Gets a little ashy in the taste, not enjoyable at all.

Duration: 21:10-21:55, 45 min.

Conclusion: A mild bodied cigar with a mild strength profile. Overall a meh cigar, construction wise it’s perfect and light good draw, but the final third really killed it flavourwise.

Result: In my book this is an 84 point cigar.
