Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens cigar lounge.
Information:
Ramón Allones is a current pre-revolution brand, established between 1837 and 1845.
The range comprises full strength cigars, using tobacco from the premium Vuelta Abajo region in Cuba.
Numbered Slide Lid Box of 25 cigars (2,000 made).
Size: 4×50, Petit Robusto (Petit Robustos).
Wrapper: Nutty, oily and silky-smooth with tiny veins.
Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Light oakwood note.
1st third: Starts with a light oakwood, milk chocolate creamy note and toasted bread.
2nd third: Keeps the same smooth flavours from part 1.
Burn: Burns hasty and fairly sharp with a grayish stable and firm ash.
Smoke: Voluminous white smoke with a cool feelings on the tongue and a light draw.
3rd third: No changes.
Duration: 20:10-21:00, 50 min.
Conclusion: A mild to medium bodied cigar with a mild strength profile.
Result: In my book this is an 90 point cigar.
