290. El Viejo Continente Robustum

Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens cigar lounge.

Information: Tobacco from Nicaragua.

Size: 5×52, Robusto.

Wrapper: Milk chocolate, silky-smooth with tiny veins.

Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Spicy cedarwood.

1st third: Starts with a spicy cedarwood note, hazelnuts and toasted bread.

2nd third: Keeps it’s flavours and milk chocolate note added.

Burn: Burns fairly sharp, stable and firm white ash.

Smoke: Voluminous white smoke, cool feeling on the tongue and a light draw.

3rd third: Keeps it’s flavours from part 2.

Duration: 16:45-17:45, 1h.

Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile.

Result: In my book this is an 89 point cigar.
