284. Gurkha Crest XO

From my own collection.

Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens cigar lounge.

Information: Tobacco from Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper surrounds Nicaraguan filler tobaccos.

Size: 6×60, Gordo.

Wrapper: Milk chocolate, oily and smooth with slightly protruding veins.

Construction: Fairly uneven feel when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Light wood notes.

1st third: Starts with a hint of funky wood and a barnyard.

2nd third: Keeps the same.

Burn: Burns hasty, with a firm and stable white ash.

Smoke: Light smoke, cool feeling on the tongue and a light draw.

3rd third: I feel this definitely have a nicotine punch.

Duration: 17:35-19:00, 1h 25min.

Conclusion: A medium to full bodied cigar with a full strength profile.

Result: In my book this is an 86 point cigar.
