259. Leonel 511 Robusto

Gifted by Srecko Pavicevic, owner of Global Cigars.

Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens cigar lounge.

Information: Colorado-Claro wrapper, filler and binder from Nicaragua.

Size: Robusto.

Wrapper: Light milk chocolate, silky smooth feel and tiny veins.

Construction: Firm even feel, when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Light cedarwood notes.

1st third: Starts with a strong bitter note of dark roasted coffee, bitter almonds and oak wood.

2nd third: It smoothens out, to a medium roasted coffee, white bread and some nutty notes. Hints of milk chocolate.

Burn: Burns fairly sharp, with a firm and stable white ash.

Smoke: Voluminous white fluffy smoke and a light draw.

3rd third: Medium roasted coffee with a splash of milk, toasted bread and a hint of milk chocolate.

Duration: 21:10-22:05, 55min

Conclusion: Medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile.

Result: In my book this is an 88 point cigar.
