235. La Flor de Cano Siboney Edicion Regional Canada 2014

Private collection.

Location: This review was made indoors in a cigar lounge.

Wrapper: Milk chocolate, oily and smooth feel with tiny veins.

Construction: Firm even feel all over.

Cold draw: Light cedarwood note.

1st third: Starts with a spicy cedarwood, like cinnamon and toasted bread together.

2nd third: Keeps the flavours overall, maybe a tad bit smoother without the spicy notes from the beginning.

The burn: Burns steady and fairly sharp with a white-ish stable and firm ash.

Smoke: Voluminous white smoke with a medium heat feel on the tongue and a light draw.

3rd third: Keeps the same flavour profile from previous parts with the spicy notes returning at the very end.

Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. Very enjoyable little cigar. Would have loved a café au lait with this one.

Result: In my book this is an 91 point cigar.
