224. Saga Short Tales Tomo III L.I.V. (Labor Ipse Voluptas) The pleasure of the work itself

Gifted by Jean-Michel Louis, Brand Ambassador and In-house Belgian at De Los Reyes Cigars.

Location: This review was made indoors in a cigar lounge.

Wrapper: Milk chocolate, oily and silky smooth with tiny veins.

Construction: Firm even feel all over.

Cold draw: Light wood notes.

1st third: Starts with a sweet note of dried fruits, milk chocolate and pine sap.

2nd third: Keeps the same smooth and really yummy flavours.

The burn: Burns steady and fairly sharp with a white-ish stable and firm ash.

Smoke: Voluminous white smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue and a light smooth draw.

3rd third: No changes, but in my opinion it’s for the better, don’t think it could have gotten any better than just the smooth and fruity notes from the beginning.

Conclusion: A mild to medium bodied cigar with a mild strength profile. Perfect smoke to enjoy with a café au lait together with a pain au chocolate or if you prefer a smooth cognac it would also be a excellent combination.

Result: In my book this is an 91 point cigar.
