Gifted by Gaby Kafie, owner of Kafie 1901 Cigars.
Location: This review was made indoors in a cigar lounge.
Wrapper: Milk chocolate, oily and silky smooth with tiny veins.
Construction: Firm even feel.
Cold draw: Light hay notes and wood.
1st third: Starts with a nutty sweetness, like mix of almonds and chestnuts. Creamy milk chocolate, pencil wood and an espresso.
2nd third: Keeps the same consistent flavours.
The burn: Burns steady and sharp with a white stable ash.
Smoke: Voluminous white smoke with a medium heat feel on the tounge and a light draw.
3rd third: No changes, a very enjoyable cigar with the same balanced flavours all the way through.
Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. As the previous Kafie I tried, this one is very good and would match perfectly with a cup of coffee.
Result: In my book this is an 89 point cigar.
