192. HENK MAORI HAKA Masterpiece Edicion Limitada 2018

Gifted by Heiko Poerz, owner of HENK MAORI HAKA & HENK Luxury Suitcases.

Info: Limited to 200 lambskin travel humidors with 7 cigars in each box. There is also 300 refill boxes available with 10 cigars in each box. Each cigar is priced at €52.
There will also be made 12 special humidors with 52 Masterpiece cigars in.

Location: This review was made indoors in a cigar lounge.

Wrapper: Milk chocolate, oily and silky smooth with near to invisible veins, I can’t barley feel where the leaves meet. Triple cap for those interested. There is also a darker wrapper in both ends.

Construction: Firm even feel all over.

Cold draw: No distinctive flavours.

1st third: Starts with a sandalwood note, there are some spices that lingers in the back. There are also a hazelnut sweetness.

2nd third: Keeps the same but with a creamy milk chocolate note that sweeps around the previous flavours.

The burn: Burns steady and fairly sharp with a white-ish stable and firm ash.

Smoke: Voluminous white smoke with a medium heat feel on the tounge and a light draw.

3rd third: Keeps the same smooth flavours from part one and two.

Conclusion: This joins my top 10 best cigars list. Medium bodied with a medium strength profile. Today we got our first snow and this gave me hints of the winter holidays with all its nuts, fruits and chocolates.

Result: In my book this is an 97 point cigar.
