123. Manuel Quesada 70th Anniversary Toro

Sponsored by Quesada Cigars.

Location: This review was made indoors in a cigar lounge.

Wrapper: Golden brown shimmer, silky oily smooth with tiny veins.

Construction: Firm even feel.

Cold draw: Hay notes.

1st third: Starts of creamy like a cappuccino with a touch of milk chocolate, cedar wood, a citrus and floral note.

2nd third: Keeps pretty much the same, a little bit more of the citrus notes step forward.

The burn: Burns quite sharp but still a little wonky, white firm and stable ash.

Smoke: Voluminous white smoke, with a medium heat on the tongue.

3rd third: Keeps the same as part 2, but with a little bit more sharp tones on the tongue. Still a very good smoke.

Conclusion: An medium bodied cigar, with an very enjoyable smoke experience. It’s a bit sad only 1000 boxes (10.000 cigars) where made, since this is a quite good cigar.

Result: In my book this is an 90 point cigar.
