Wrapper: Coffee bean brown, oily and coarse texture with tiny veins.
Construction: Firm and even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Ground dark roasted coffee, vegetal and cedarwood.
1st third: Starts with cedarwood, earthy sweetness, ground dark roasted coffee, walnut and pecan dark notes and dried citrus.
2nd third: The coffee notes steps forward.
Burn: Burns sharp with a firm and stable white ash.
Smoke: Light smoke with a medium heat feel on the tongue with a medium light draw.
3rd third: While the flavours are the same, they are a lot darker and heavier than before. I’m starting to feel light headed.
Duration: 18:35-19:55, 1h 20min.
Conclusion: A full bodied cigar with a medium to full strength profile. It has a classic cacao forward blend which dries out the palate a bit, its not a favourite Maduro experience of mine it still performs greatly like expected.
Result: In my book this is a 88 point cigar.
