Bought from Sir Louis Cigars, USA.
Location: This review was made in a cigar lounge.
Information:
Wrapper: Ecuadorian Habano 2000 Rosado Oscuro
Binder: Mexican San Andrés
Filler: Nicaraguan Jalapa & Dominican Republic San Victor, Villa Gonzalez
Origin: Dominican Republic
Factory: MJ Frias Cigars SLR (Dominican Republic)
Box: Sold in 10 count boxes.
Release: 2025
Availability: Regular Production.
Size: 5.5×54, Robusto Extra.
Wrapper: Walnut brown, coarse texture with small protruding veins.
Construction: Fairly firm and even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Light sandalwood.
1st third: Starts with walnuts, toasted brioche rolls, sandalwood and gingerbread.
2nd third: Keeps pretty much inline with the previous flavours. The second band was glued to the wrapper so it cracked itself open when I took it off 0.2 cm from the band.
Burn: Burns a little uneven but with a firm and stable white-ish ash.
Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a medium heat feel on the tongue with a medium light draw.
3rd third: Keeps the same throughout, enjoyable but not very complex.
Duration: 17:20-18:25, 1h 5min.
Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. It’s a good smoke, but not complex which made it pretty monotone.
Result: In my book this is a 87 point cigar.
