1st third: Starts with hickory wood, barbeque, walnuts and dark roasted coffee.
2nd third: There is a harshness creeping up together with a pepper spice. The previous flavours aren’t affected.
Burn: Burns fairly sharp with a firm but flakey and unstable white-ish ash.
Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a medium cool feeling on the tongue with a light draw.
3rd third: It’s bringing the punches, it’s dark, heavy nicotine feeling. The flavours are inline with before, no changes in taste but not as harsh as before.
Duration: 15:55-17:05, 1h 10min.
Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a full strength profile. It’s a heavy cigar, full force of nicotine, it’s not for the faint hearted person. It’s not for enjoyment, it’s for the person who’s addicted to nicotine, I’m feeling dizzy. But I have to say it’s not bad tasting just very unbalanced and strong. Almost half of it is pretty harsh.
Result: In my book this is a 84 point cigar.
