Wrapper: Almond beige, smooth texture with small veins.
Construction: Fairly firm and even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Sandalwood, hay and light pepper spice.
1st third: Starts with soft puff pastry, vanilla whipped cream and a marcona almonds. An oily coating on the tongue.
2nd third: Slight white pepper spice added but not too intrusive.
Burn: Burns fairly sharp and hasty with a firm and stable white ash.
Smoke: Fairly voluminous smoke with a medium cool feeling on the tongue with a light draw.
3rd third: The vanilla note turns to a raw sugar crystal sweetness and the sandalwood steps forward a bit.
Duration: 16:00-17:40, 1h 40min.
Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. Very enjoyable smooth experience, with a good complexity.
Result: In my book this is a 92 point cigar.
