Wrapper: Hazelnut brown, coarse texture with small veins.
Construction: Firm and even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Light wood notes.
1st third: Starts with buttered roasted chestnuts, cedarwood, nutmeg and slight touch of grilled lemons.
2nd third: Additional notes of cinnamon and farm bread.
Burn: Burns hasty and fairly sharp with a firm and stable white-ish ash.
Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue with a light draw.
3rd third: Virtually unchanged from previous parts in the flavour department, with a strong pepper spice added.
Duration: 16:35-18:05, 1h 30min.
Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium to full strength profile. Enjoyable smoking experience, with a fairly good complexity and a spice kick towards the end.
Result: In my book this is a 89 point cigar.
