Wrapper: Light almond beige, silky smooth texture with tiny veins. Small crack in wrapper in the head of the cigar as I cut it (not effecting the smoking experience).
Construction: Fairly firm and even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Hay, cedarwood and white pepper.
1st third: Starts with a creamy foamed milk, wheat biscuit, cedarwood and slight white pepper spice lingering in the background.
2nd third: The foamed milk note turns to a creamy cappuccino, still pretty spicy with ginger and white pepper and that dry cedarwood note.
Burn: Burns fairly sharp with a firm and stable with a firm white-ish ash.
Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue with a light draw.
3rd third: While the notes haven’t changed much, it’s a more pronounced on the coffee and spice, with additional notes of cinnamon.
Duration: 16:00-18:10, 2h 10min.
Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium to full strength profile. Enjoyable smooth smoking experience with a spice kick lurking in the background throughout.
Result: In my book this is a 89 point cigar.
