Wrapper: Chestnut brown oily and smooth texture with small veins.
Construction: Firm and even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Light wood and black tea.
1st third: Starts with walnuts, oakwood, earthy sweetness, white pepper, cinnamon and cardamom spice and bready undertones.
2nd third: Keeps inline with the previous part with an additional note of medium roasted coffee.
Burn: Burns fairly sharp with a firm and stable white-ish ash.
Smoke: Medium voluminous smoke with a medium heat feel on the tongue with a light draw.
3rd third: While unchanged it’s still very enjoyable.
Duration: 17:55-19:45, 1h 50min.
Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. It has a wide palette of flavours throughout but it’s not very complex it kept the same from the start to the end.
Result: In my book this is a 89 point cigar.
