Wrapper: Mexican San Andrés
Binder: Nicaragua
Filler: Nicaragua
Origin: Nicaragua

Factory: AJ Fernandez (Nicaragua)

Availability: Regular Production.

Size: 5×56, Robusto Grande (Soft Boxpressed).

Wrapper: Coffee bean brown, coarse texture with tiny veins.

Construction: A little giving but even feel when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Cedarwood.

1st third: Starts with cedarwood, walnuts with its shells, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and dried citrus. A drying feeling is covering the mouth.

2nd third: Bitter dark coffee notes take the forefront in this part together with pepper spice.

Burn: Burns fairly sharp with a firm and stable white-ish ash.

Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a medium heat feel on the tongue with a light draw.

3rd third: Keeps the same from part 2.

Duration: 17:55-18:55, 1h.

Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium to full strength profile. It’s a good experience, just a bit lackluster in the flavour development.

Result: In my book this is a 87 point cigar.
