Sponsored by Hammer & Sickle Cigars. Good firm construction, oily dark brown wrapper.
First taste: Honey, dark roasted chocolate, slight tone of black pepper in the back of the mouth. Slight citrus peal notes.
Good firm ash, white and crispy.
Voluminous smoke.
Keeps a steady taste all through.
I would give this a score of 89.
Enjoyable but was expecting a bit more umf. Took about 2h to smoke due to the Broadleaf.

31. Hammer & Sickle Cigars Trademark Maduro Robusto

Sponsored by Hammer & Sickle Cigars. Good firm construction, have some spots that are a little soft but that dosen’t mean it’s bad. The wrapper is a very dark brown oily wrapper.
First taste: A straight up espresso, dark chocolate like maybe 60% in straight and a slight sting from the coffee.
It burns quite quickly compared to the other cigars from @hscigars, a gray to white ash.
In the second part the coffee mellows out to a medium roasted variety and it keeps its nice taste.
The finish is superb, no bitter after notes that some cigars have.
For me this gets 90 points.

30. Hammer & Sickle Trademark Icon Toro Connecticut

Sponsored by Hammer & Sickle Cigars. Soft construction, sandy light wrapper as most Connecticuts are.
Round smooth notes of medium roasted coffee and almonds.
The ash is crisp white, sadly falls of to easy.
The flavors keeps steady, still smooth and toasty.
It’s a really easy smoke perfect as a morning cigar or for a newbie to cigars.
The finish of the smoke is not so harsh more suave which it quite typical for a Connecticut.
I would rate this at 87 points, it good but nothing stands out for me.

29. Hammer & Sickle Berlin Wall Toro

Sponsored by Hammer & Sickle Cigars. Soft and smooth wrapper, overall good construction with tiny veins.
First taste: Dark coffee, leather, milk chocolate, oak wood, lime peal and juniper.
The ash is a beautiful white-grayish tone. The ash has an good construction and dosen’t fall of as easy as most of the other cigars from H&S.
At the half way point the coffee really shows it self with a kick but with a splash of cream which gives it an elegant tone. In its final stretch the lime creeps up but in a good way. A very pleasant smoke in my opinion. An an very elegant touch with the copper cigar band.
I give this 92 points.

28. Hammer & Sickle – Hermitage No.1 St.Petersburg Toro

Sponsored by Hammer & Sickle Cigars. Review Time! Beautiful silky wrapper, tiny veins, good construction, soft but also firm and slightly box pressed.
First taste: Medium roasted coffee, 60% creamy cacao, natural peanuts.
Sadly the ash fell after about 2 cm, soft and flaky, witch was weird since it looked so stable right up to the moment. The ash light gray.
The smoke is very voluminous.
In the second part, I get oak wood notes, but no other changes that jump out, good balance.
In the third part, there where a note I felt in the beginning that i couldn’t pinpoint but I think I got it now, it was leather.
Burns slowly took about 1.5-2h, maybe I smoke slowly?
I would rate this at 90 points.
I enjoyed this very much, but sadly the part about the ash put down the score a little.

27. Hammer & Sickle Cigars Tradicion Series Robusto

Sponsored by Hammer & Sickle Cigars. Red Alert ⚠! Review Time. Good construction, sandy but smooth wrapper, medium brown colour with tiny veins.
Smooth in and dry out smoke, lemon peal, cedar wood, lightly roasted cacao beans, a little sharpness from coffee maybe.
A really crisp white ash, good construction aswell.
The wrapper was a bit dry but that’s understandable after flying over seas.
It has a smooth finish.
I would give this 89 points as a pleasurable smoke.
