Wrapper: Chestnut brown, smooth but coarse texture with small veins.
Construction: Fairly firm and fairly even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Barnyard and cedarwood.
1st third: Starts with cinnamon, sweet pastry, nutmeg and cedarwood.
2nd third: Slight introduction of white pepper spice together with malted milk biscuits.
Burn: Burns sharp with a firm and stable white-ish ash.
Smoke: Fairly voluminous smoke with a medium heat feel on the tongue with a medium light draw.
3rd third: Notes of medium roasted coffee takes the front seat in this final third.
Duration: 21:35-23:05, 1h 30min.
Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. While not super exciting complexity it’s still enjoyable.
Result: In my book this is a 88 point cigar.
