Size: 6.5 X 58 “Chisel Box Pressed” Figurado
Wrapper: Mahogany wood brown, oily but coarse texture with tiny veins.
Construction: Fairly firm and even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Earthy sweetness.
1st third: Starts with toasted bread, earthy sweetness, dark roasted coffee and woody.
2nd third: Keeps pretty much the same with some black pepper spice added.
Burn: Burns sharp with a firm and stable white-ish ash.
Smoke: Medium voluminous smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue with a light draw.
3rd third: Unchanged from part 2.
Duration: 18:55-20:55, 2h.
Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. Well balanced flavours throughout but not very complex.
Result: In my book this is a 89 point cigar.
