Wrapper: Milk chocolate brown, silky smooth texture with tiny veins.

Construction: Fairly firm and even feel when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Hay, cinnamon, brown sugar and light wood.

1st third: Starts with a sweet cardamom bun, sandalwood, cashew nuts, light pepper spice, and a hint of cinnamon in the background.

2nd third: While keeping the previous flavours flowing smoothly a note of darker earthy and toasted bread notes steps forward.

Burn: Burns sharp with a firm and stable white ash.

Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a medium cool feeling on the tongue with a medium light draw.

3rd third: The final usually provides the most power, not here but it sure is flavourful with additional notes of old ships rope and cacao.

Duration: 15:10-17:00, 1h 50min.

Conclusion: A full bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. Well balanced flavours and beautifully smooth textured smoke. This cigar will age beautifully and it’s a worthy second edition to the original. This is a pincher, hard to put this cigar down.

Result: In my book this is a 94 point cigar.
