Location: This review was made outdoors during an cloudy afternoon with 8°C.
Wrapper: A shining, silky smooth, orange brown wrapper.
Construction: Good feeling.
Cold draw: Light hay flavor.
1st third: Light cedarwood taste, no spicy notes what so ever, just wonderful cedarwood with a touch of sweetness. It’s light in texture but creamy or should I say round. Like a caramel poured over an apple.
2nd third: There is a slight bitterness familiar to an orange peal or maybe lemon.
Towards the end of the second part the bitter notes fade of.
The burn: Burns quite even, the ash is dark gray, not flaky but not stable either, falls of very easy.
Smoke: Light in texture but with a buttery slipperiness just gliding of the tounge.
3rd third: Smoothness of the cedarwood comes back as in the first part and stays until the very last end. No bitter notes at all.
Conclusion: Very enjoyable, think this would match great with a bottle of Pommery Cuvée Louise 2002 Champagne. The buttery smoothness would match great.
Result: In my book this is a 90 point cigar.
