Wrapper: Barber pole split wrapper colours one is a coffee bean brown and one is a peanut light brown both are smooth and oily texture with tiny veins.
Construction: Fairly firm and even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Notes of crunchy peanut butter and light wood.
1st third: Starts with a dark gingerbread (nutmeg, cinnamon and brown sugar), birch-bark, cacao and slight peated whisky in the background.
2nd third: Unchanged.
Burn: Burns fairly sharp with a firm and stable grayish ash.
Smoke: Medium voluminous smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue with a medium draw.
3rd third: Notes of dark chocolate take the front seat otherwise unchanged.
Duration: 15:15-16:45, 1h 30min.
Conclusion: A medium to full bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. Enjoyable smoking experience but with a tad bit tight draw.
Result: In my book this is a 89 point cigar.
