437. Cavalier Genève Black II Toro

Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens Fine Tobacco’s cigar lounge.

Wrapper: Mexican San Andrés
Binder: Nicaragua
Filler: Nicaragua
Made at San Judas Tadeo factory, in Honduras.

Size: 6×54, Toro.

Wrapper: Dark oily coffee bean, oily and silky-smooth with tiny veins.

Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed. It’s soft boxpressed.

Cold draw: Light wood note.

1st third: Starts with a rich cacao note, with pine nut and white pepper spice.

2nd third: Keeps it’s previous flavours.

Burn: Burns fairly sharp with a few minor touch ups, with a firm and fairly stable white ash.

Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue and a light draw.

3rd third: Keeps the same from the first part until the very end.

Duration: 02:50-04:10, 1h 20 min.

Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile.

Result: In my book this is an 90 point cigar.
