381. Jas Sum Kral Tyrannical Buc Connecticut Generosos 40

Gifted by Riste Riatevski, owner of Jas Sum Kral.

Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens Fine Tobacco’s cigar lounge.

Information:
Wrapper: Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade.
Binder: Nicaraguan Jalapa.
Filler: USA Pennsylvania & Nicaraguan Condega, Estelí.

Size: 5.5×40, Corona Extra (Generosos).

Wrapper: Milk chocolate, smooth feeling with tiny veins.

Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Hay.

1st third: Starts with a note of hazelnut spread with cacao and a of hint of shortbread.

2nd third: The previous flavours merge together to a creamy buttery chocolate biscuit.

Burn: Sharp even burn with a firm and stable white ash.

Smoke: Light smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue and a tight draw.

3rd third: No changes from part 2.

Duration: 11:25-12:25, 1h.

Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. I can understand if people think this is similar to Cubans, but I think this might be better.

Result: In my book this is an 90 point cigar.
