377. Romeo y Julieta Churchills Añejados Tubos 2007

Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens Fine Tobacco’s cigar lounge.

Information:
The range comprises medium strength cigars, using tobacco from the premium Vuelta Abajo region in Cuba.
Wrapper: Cuban.
Binder: Cuban.
Filler: Cuban.
Dress Box of 25 cigars in aluminium tubes.
Special pre-2008 style Romeo y Julieta Churchill band, with second Aged Habanos (Añejados) band.
Handmade, then aged for at least 10 years.

Size: 7×47, Churchill (Julieta No.2).

Wrapper: Milk chocolate, oily and smooth with small veins.

Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Light cedarwood note.

1st third: Starts with a light milk chocolate and hazelnut creamy note.

2nd third: Keeps previous flavours with the cedarwood appearing in the background now.

Burn: Burns sharp with a firm and stable white ash.

Smoke: Light smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue and a medium to tight draw.

3rd third: No changes taste wise from previous parts.

Duration: 15:30-17:40, 2h 10min.

Conclusion: A mild to medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile.

Result: In my book this is an 91 point cigar.
