332. Ashton Symmetry Robusto

Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens cigar lounge.

Wrapper: Ecuadorian Habano.
Binder: Dominican Republic.
Filler: Dominican Republic & Nicaragua.

The Ashton Symmetry was four years in the making and was blended by Carlos “Carlito” Fuente Jr. Like all Ashton-branded products, it’s made in the Dominican Republic at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia.

Size: 5×50, Robusto

Wrapper: Milk chocolate, silky-smooth with seamless veins.

Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Green pepper and beechwood.

1st third: Starts with a almonds and figs with a background of beechwood.

2nd third: A hint of milk chocolate emerges to compliment the previous flavours.

Burn: Burns sharp with a firm and stable white ash.

Smoke: Light smoke with a medium heat feel on the tongue and a medium light draw.

3rd third: Keeps the same.

Duration: 20:15- 21:10, 55 min.

Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile.

Result: In my book this is an 88 point cigar.
